You will freeze from fear upon seeing the tiger jump on its keeper with its hunting skills at the peak. Although tigers are known to be the most dangerous creatures on earth due to their barbaric and merciless nature. But the keepers at “Out of Africa” have found out a way to become the best buddies of these barbarians. If you get a chance to visit the “Out of Africa” wildlife park located in Arizona then do stop by to watch the “Tiger Splash” program organized daily by the keepers at this park.
During the “Tiger Splash” program, the keepers tend to become playmates of tigers and offer themselves to be snatched and scratched. Keepers strongly believe that if you want to control a dangerous creature then you need to become its playmate. The visual demonstration of this “playmate theory” can clearly be seen during the “Tiger Splash” program. Any person witnessing this program for the first time will be shocked to see these tigers jumping at their keepers, after all tigers can easily change their mind and the keepers can become victim instead of playmates.
Although these tigers have never thought about eating their keepers still these keepers have received their share of scratches and bruises. Dean, who is the head keeper, claims that the main idea behind becoming the playmate of these Siberian and Bengal tigers is to teach them the power of remaining faithful to the one they love. Dean further claims that these tigers have learned to love and respect their human playmate that’s why then never hurt the keepers.
The keepers at “Out of Africa” not only spend their time playing with these highly-active tigers but they also perform the same role for a pack of wolves.
